About Randi Minetor
Randi Minetor is the author of nearly 70 books, including dozens of books about America's national parks, hiking in New York State, birding in New England, and a wide range of other topics. Not only does she write about the outdoors, but she has written extensively about American history as it relates to specific national parks or historic cities. Her books have been published by Lyons Press, Down East Books, Falcon Guides, Globe Pequot, Greenwood Books, ABC-CLIO, Althea Press, Sonoma Press, Calistoga Press, Zephyros Press, Tycho Press, Quick Reference Publishing, and New Horizon Press.
In addition, Randi writes cover stories and features for Western New York Physician magazine, and is a contributing writer to Projection, Lights & Staging News (PLSN), Lighting & Sound America, and Medical Economics. She has written for magazines and trade journals including Stage Directions, Theatre Design & Technology, Waterworld, Water and Wastes Digest, Highlights for Children, and a wide range of other trade publications.
